EP113: The 5 in 3 Challenge
This episode is about the power of clear, concise, communication… I’ll share a funny story from a clinic and how it turned into a challenging, powerful, and effective exercise for forming questions and answers to problems.
EP112: Complicating The Half Halt
In this episode I will explore the elusive, confusing, mystifying mystery known as the half halt – the dressage student’s white whale. Many other teachers have gone before me, claiming to be able to simplify it, demystify it and clarify it but they end up just complicating it. I’m usually pretty good at explaining things… So is this episode going to clarify or confuse or complicate the half halt even more? I guess you’ll have to listen to find out.
EP111: Get The Ticket & Show Up
In this episode, I’ll share a couple of life hacks for making sure you do things you want to do. This will help you stop procrastinating, and will make it easier to make the progress you want to make.

As horsemen and women, we live for the moments that feel good.
There`s a lot of focus and diligence that goes into curating these moments, but oh my goodness, it is worth it.
The feeling of trust.
The feeling of lightness.
The feeling of connection.
The feeling of a melding of minds.
The feeling of bodies melding.
The feeling of a journey traveled together.
The feeling of a system we both enjoy.
Yummy is the word that often comes to my mind in these moments.
Within some basic parameters, I`m not an absolutist when it comes to equipment.
The best saddle is the one that fits the horse (and the rider).
The best bit is the one the horse likes.
With that said, when I look at this picture of Quora and me, I see the yumminess of a horse brought up in a bitless bridle that is comfortable and easy for her to understand, with rope reins that have so much life and information traveling through them, and my treeless saddle where I can feel her breathing in my seat. I started her bareback and love the closeness I still feel. (It`s an Ansur Classic)
We feel close in every way.
I also see the challenges we have overcome and the understanding we have developed.
There`s so much that can change and get out of balance with horses... I hope you remember to soak in all the yumminess you feel.
A few strides here and there.
A magical ride.
The moment when the transition you`ve been practicing happens with ease.
It`s easy to think only about what needs to improve. Instead, focus on the yummy moments (however brief)... So you know what you`re moving towards.
This brings me to...
