Mr. Monty demonstrates his naturally excellent posture. For some horses this can be difficult to obtain bridle-less, but Monty really taught me that the posture we are trying to obtain with our aids, is really what a horse will naturally do if they are able, if they understand the task at hand, and are inspired to do it to their best.

We all hear that dressage is supposed to re-create that which a horse can do naturally ... That riding is 10% explaining what we want, and 90% getting out of their way. Monty and his super elastic, athletic body and keen mind has shown me this time and time again ... I really am grateful for him, as I may not have believed it with out him!
